Segment Studio (trade name of Studio DF VOF) attaches great value to your privacy. In this privacy policy we explain which personal data we process when you visit our website or place an order, why we do so and what rights you have. We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Which data we process

Order and contact details: name, e-mail address, phone number, billing and delivery address. Design data: the route (GPX file), title, date and any photos you upload to compose your poster. Communication: messages you send us. Technical data: limited data about your website visit (such as via cookies).

For what purpose and on what legal basis

We use your data to carry out your order and to make and deliver your poster (performance of the contract), for customer service and communication (performance of the contract and legitimate interest), to comply with legal obligations such as the fiscal retention obligation (legal obligation), and to invite you after purchase to leave a review via Trustpilot (legitimate interest; you can object to this).

Sharing with third parties

We never sell your data. We only share it with parties that help us deliver the service, and only for that purpose: Shopify (our webshop platform and payment processing), our design and hosting environment that processes your uploaded route and photos to generate the poster, our e-mail provider for confirmation and service e-mails, the delivery partner for delivery and track & trace, and Trustpilot for review invitations. These parties process your data only on our instructions and in accordance with the GDPR.

Retention periods

We do not keep your data longer than necessary. Order and invoice data we keep in accordance with the statutory retention period of 7 years. Your design files (route and photos) we keep for as long as necessary to make your poster and to handle any reorders or complaints, after which we delete them.

Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, have deleted, restrict or object to the processing of your data, and to have your data transferred. Send your request to info@segmentstudio.nl; we respond within the statutory period. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
